About the Author:
Margaret Lee D.Ac., B.Sc., R.H.N. believes that prevention is the key to a healthy vibrant life. This has led her onto a path of helping others achieve optimal health and well-being. Upon graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in 1999, she decided to further her studies in Holistic Nutrition where the goal is preventative healthcare through good nutrition. As a believer that the human body has the ability to heal most ailments naturally, she went on to pursue acupuncture to complement her practice. After graduating from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005, Margaret has combined her knowledge as a nutritionist with acupuncture to help her clients gain better health. Her experience in acupuncture ranges from muscular pain conditions (neck, shoulder and back), joint disorders, sports injuries, menstrual/menopausal symptoms, infertility issues, digestive disorders, stress, insomnia, headaches, weight management etc. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CSCMA) and is also certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture which is a non-surgical procedure that tones and rejuvenates the skin to reduce the signs of aging.
Margaret Lee is the writer of Nutriacure, and practises acupuncture and nutritional counselling at several clinics throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
